22.10.2024: We participated in the International Workshop on “Materials and Devices for Post-CMOS Computing,” held at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with leading researchers from around the world, including my mentor Prof Judith Driscoll. 

30.09.2024: Group trip to Varkala, a small beach town near our institue. 

01.07.2024: Wasim Akram, PhD student of our lab, attended the 22nd International Conference on Magnetism (ICM2024) in Bologna, Italy, June 30 – July 5, 2024. Presented his work on Magneto Caloric Materials and enjoying his first european visit.

24.06.2024: The group welcomes Atif Jan, a visiting PhD student from the University of Cambridge, UK. Atif is working on ferroelectric memories under Dr Giuliana Di Martino. His visit is part of Royal Society International Exchange project between Dr Tuhin Maity and Dr Giuliana Di Martino.

13.06.2024: Riya Pathak has been selected for the IEEE Magnetics Society Summer School (Fully funded) in Taipei, Taiwan, (June 9-14, 2024). She presented her interesting research on thin film Quantum Materials with Quantum Spin Liquid (QSL). She enjoyed her first international visit!

20.03.2024: Manisha Bansal presented our work (Talk and poster) in DPG Meeting of the Condensed Matter Section in Berlin-Germany on March, 17.-22., 2024. Glad to showcase our works on new nanoscale materials for energy efficient memory and caloric applications to international community.
